Sinharaja Rain Forest – The Marvelous Place I Have Ever Visited

I recently visited Sinharaja Rain Forest to enjoy the beauty of nature. It was unforgettable experience in my life. Everyone accept that Sinharaja Rain Forest is the most famous and important rain forest in Sri Lanka without any argument. This is located in the south western part of the island and which belongs to three districts namely Gall, Matara & Rathnapura.This consist of lots of bio diversities. Tourists who are visiting this attractive place can see lots of beautiful nature scenes such as rivers, waterfalls, leopard, monkeys, butterflies and moths, rare trees, Beautiful Streams, valuable shrubs and medicinal herbs. There are some of flora those are inherent to the Sinharaja Rain Forest. Not only floras there some endemic birds like Layard’s Parakeet, Ceylon Lorikeet.

I never forget the journey that I participated to the Anuradhapura, It is the sacred place of Buddhists. We visited eight places in Anuradhapura. They are Jaya Sri maha bodiya, Ruwanwalisaya, Thuparamaya,lowamaha paya, Abayagiriya, Mirisa watiya Jethawanaramaya, Lanka tilaka.

Dansala is conducted every day during the year  on the way to Jaya Sri Maha Bodiya and Ruwan Wali Saya. When we went there my mind was very relax. Sri Maha Bodhi is the world oldest tree and Jetha Wana Ramaya is the biggest 'chaithya' in Sri Lanka.If I have time to go there definitely I will go. Every Buddhist should worship these religious places.  Finally this is our heritage and it's our duty to protect that.

Nuwara-Eliya Paradise of Ceylon

If someone wish cool, beautiful and natural environment, yes we have to go to the Nuwara-Eliya. Someone call this beautiful city as the “Little England”. Then we can imagine the weather of this city because this paradise is located 180 km far from the Colombo. The annual temperature of the city approximately takes Celsius 16.

The meaning of the Nuwara-Eliya is "City of Light". Someone say the meaning of the Nuwara-Eliya is "city on the plain". The city is located in Central Province.

This beautiful city located in the hill country because of this location there are many beautiful places available for us to visit and enjoy their pried. Among them Horton Plains National Park, Queen Victoria Park, Hakgala Botanical Garden and Gregory Lake so on. The pride of this city enhanced by the very valuable places like Sri Pada, Mountain Piduruthalagala etc. This is a paradise for the bird watchers because the birds like Indian blue robin etc. can be found from Nuwara-Eliya. This beautiful women wear many jewelries to enhance her beauty. Devon falls, Ramboda Ella waterfall, St. Clare Falls, Laksapana waterfall etc.

This is a beautiful place for lovers too. Because this paradise has the beautiful falls named as Lover’s Leap waterfall. There is a beautiful story behind this falls too.

 

If someone interest in mountain biking, bird watching, camping, boating and other adventure sports yes, Nuwara-Eliya is the city for all these.

If you are interesting in visiting this city and stay and enjoy the experience of the city, there is nothing to worry about it. Because this is a tourism land and developed under the government support.

You can come to Nuwara-Eliya either by bus or train. If you wish to come to Nuwara-Eliya by train  the nearest railway station is Nanu-Oya which is nearly 8 km away from the Nuwara-Eliya. Therefore everything is available there is nothing worry about the facilities of this city. due to the fact of tourism city there are lot of accommodations, communication facilities and the specialty of clean environment are available for the visitors.

But there as the visitors to this nature there is a responsibility to us on this city. That is we should protect this resource.

Sigiriya

Sigiriya

When talk about the places, Sigiriya is a marvelous place to visit in Sri Lanka. Before two years ago I visited that place with my friends. I read a book which was written about the places in Sri Lanka, author described about the Sigiriya nicely, due to that interest I visited Sigiriya. It was the kingdom of king Kasyapa in earliest time. Sigiriya is famous due to its archaeological plan and features. Such as Frescoes, The mirror wall, Water gardens, Ponds, etc. Sigiriya frescoes are similar to Ajantha Caves' frescoes. I always tell, Sigiriya is the best place that I have ever visited in Sri Lanka.

i love jaffna

Jaffna

is the one of famous city in Srilanka and also whole world. Jaffna is also known as Yalpanam. Historically Jaffna has been a important city and have big history. Since the end of 30 years war Jaffna is open to the world. most of the people are in Jaffna are Tamil. Jaffna is providing to the world so many places to visit such as Jaffna library, nallur kandasami temple, Jaffna fort.

. Now a day’s most of tourist are willing to visit Jaffna, because of they can get many experience from there, not only visit those places Jaffna has very interesting culture and lives friendly people, and can eat very testy food. Last year I was visit Jaffna .and that was my dream. And I get so many experiences. so I must say your lives in America England, India or Canada that is not problem you must visit Jaffna and get that awesome experience your life .
